Robert J. Pritchard

Robert (Bob) Pritchard wrote his first computer program in 1961, as an undergraduate in engineering physics at Queen's University. After graduating in 1964, he went on to earn a Masters in Information Engineering at the University of Birmingham.

Bob Prichard began his varied career with Ferranti Ltd., Litton Systems Canada, Northern Telecom, and a senior technical management position within Xerox Canada's Computer Marketing Division. Bob remained with Xerox to take on sales management roles in the U.S. and Canada. This led in turn to roles as National Product Manager for Honeywell Information Systems' mini-computer operation, Midwest Regional Manager for General Automation and general management positions with GA Computer Ltd. and Genamation Inc.

Today, Bob is President of R.J. Pritchard & Associates, a consulting practice with a special emphasis on sales channels, the marketing of technology products in North America and the valuation of technology products.

Among other volunteer positions, Bob has been an active board member of the Queen's University Alumni Association and a member of Queen's University Council. He served nine years on the board of the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area, including two years as board chair.
